2000 Boxster S, 74K Triple Row IMS

SOLD

2000 Porsche Boxster S, 74K miles

Lapis Blue, Terra Cotta Full Leather Interior with Black Convertible Top.
6 Speed Manual. Lintronics Head Lights.
Bose Speaker system including Storage Compartment with Speakers.

Clean, Clear Title in hand. Cash sale only. $13,500.

This has been my daily driver since I bought it and rebuilt the engine.
It had suffered a water pump failure and I rebuilt it completely with new
rings, main and rod bearings, chains, tensioners, chain guides, all belts, hoses, plugs, coil paks, seals,
LN Engineering billet oil pump drive and billet chain tensioner guide, and sachs clutch & Gear oil flushed.
The cylinder heads were given a complete three-angle valve job. Nothing was left untouched.
That was 40K miles ago. No worries on a recent rebuild.

This engine also has a triple row ceramic ball bearing LN Engineering IMS replacement.
No worries about an IMS failure leading to a complete engine rebuild.

I also pulled the Salmon colored interior and replaced the carpet with black. All carpeted surfaces on the door and rear deck
have been covered with a black leather like surface. This improved the interior immensely.

The car has always been well maintained. Always run synthetic with 6000mile change intervals.
I planned to keep the car forever and treated as such.
This car has never been tracked. I have plenty of other track toys to
absorb that abuse.

I'm only replacing because my wife requested I pick up a 4 door and bought a Cayenne Twin Turbo.
I have too many Porsches in my stable. Time to let one be enjoyed by someone else.

Recent service includes:
New AC compressor (blows strong and cold)
Spark plug Oil Tubes and seals.
New AOS & O2 Sensors.
New Windshield.

Within the past year.
New transmission mounts, recent engine mounts.
New CV Axle boots.
New wheel bearings for all 4 corners.
New tires (~6000 miles on them)
New rear window.

The water pump is about 1.5years old (15000 miles?)

Car runs good and is mechanically sound.

It was a daily driver -- it is not a garage princess. It shows typical scratches, nicks and dings for its age.

It has an after market stereo that has a USB input, Satellite capable, and blue tooth and hands free.
There is also the factory 6 disk changer.
There is an aftermarket mirror with garage remotes and auto dimming.

Low points:
The drivers side seat bolster has wallet rash -- it is worn but not torn.
The carbon fiber on the steering wheel is cracked -- but it has been that way since I bought it.
Carbon fiber trim around HVAC and Stereo has peeled off.
There are 2 keys and one key FOB, but the remote isn't working. It might just need a battery.
The center console has one hinge broken. Open/closes fine -- just want to disclose.
Bottom bumper scraped up pretty good, but only visible from lower viewpoint.

I own 7 Porsches, I know what this Boxster S is worth, especially with the triple row IMS bearing,
don't low ball me.

Asking $13,500. Will consider serious offers. Local pick-up only or pre-paid transactions only.
I welcome a PPI at buyers expense as my time allows.

Thank you.

I couldn't take the Salmon colored carpet!!!

I thought the black made the terra cotta pop.

Hope a rennlister takes her home and enjoys her like I have.

FYI, if whoever buys this car and wants a black interior instead i will switch you and give you money towards the exchange.
