No, I didn't do the IMS upgrade. Since this was a 997 3.6 it has a much more stout IMS bearing (3rd revision I believe) and went with my shops suggestion that it wouldn't be necessary. You can be I'll be eagle-eying the rms area for any stray drops for as long as I might have it!!
