For sale, 2003 Boxster S, $16.5k, Chicago

For sale is this beautiful 2003 Porsche Boxster with about 75k miles. As you can see from the images, it's immaculate, inside and out. It currently rides on Kumho Ecsta SPT tires. The fronts have less than 50 miles no them, the rears have less than 1000 miles on them. It has some of the more desirable options, such as 18 inch wheels, traction control (i.e., Porsche stability management), cruise control, and Bose audio.

For the last 3+ years, this has been maintained by the fine Porsche specialists at Midwest Performance Cars. The car has had a recent alignment, new rear main seal, newer clutch, timing chain replaced at 60k, etc.. So, this vehicle is ready for years of low maintenance ownership.

Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

Asking $16,500, but please, make an offer.

Very very nice, this will not last long.

Nice car, what color is it?

Frodo 04-17-2011 10:18 AM

Lapis blue? That's my guess...

Johnny Danger 04-17-2011 10:43 AM

16.5k is giving it away .

dallison 04-17-2011 12:37 PM

if only you were closer.

Frodo 04-17-2011 01:04 PM

C'mon...is "here" really all that far from Chicago??

Idaho Red Rocket 3 04-17-2011 02:28 PM

Go get it. FLY / DRIVE.

OK, now all the peer pressure is getting to me. I thought I wanted this, but if this many people agree then I must be wrong... Seriously, though, gvibes, give me a call or an email or a smoke signal or just tell me it sold locally or a tree fell on it or something... Its been 3 days since the PM and my wife is getting suspicious of me checking back on the computer every day.

Sorry, the car is sold

I am the new owner, picking up on Friday and driving her back to Texas. I will post pics on Friday when I pic her up, this will be my third Boxster but my first S. Yes, the color code is LM5N J2 - lapis blue metallic :)

She's going to Texas...last I heard Texas was going to raise their speed limit to 85mph because it's so far from town to town. Sounds like an perfectly viable excuse to me!!! Should be able to cruise at 90 with no problem, rock on!!

Doc Fizzix 04-18-2011 08:29 PM

Hook'em Horns Baby :)

Yep, 85 mph
