Cylinder numbering?

Boxster 2001 2.7

I have issues regarding a misfire on Bank 2 cylinder 4.

Am I right in thinking the number 4 cylinder is the one furthest forward left as we look at the vehicle from the back looking forward?
(passenger side in UK, drivers side in USA)

Thanks in advance guys.

That is correct.

Cylinder numbering?

The freight car was to developed with the hope of revolutionizing the transportation of grain by carrying it in two enormous cylinders about 8½ feet long and 6½ feet in diameter and made of boiler iron and revolving on an axle running through the center upon the ends of which were the journal boxes. Tires flanged and fitted to the gauge of track were put round the cylinders and were the wheels of the car

Thanks for clearing that up for me, Nikole. I've been stressing for weeks, wondering just how in the world I'm going to get my grain to market. You've come to my rescue...NOW GO AWAY.
