WTB IMS Bearing removal tool
anyone selling there retro-fit IMS Bearing removal and install tools??
apparently you dont have to replace the bearing again after you install the LN bearing so I assume someone would be willing to sell there tools?? They cost $70 new so ..... wondering if anyone wants to sell for cheaper? |

And, by the way, the last time I looked
The creator of the bearing was recommending a remove, inspect and or replace every clutch job or 40k miles for inspection until they get a lot of evidence that the new bearings will last longer. So people may just be keeping their bearing puller tools.
Maybe a better tactic is to ask to borrow with a big deposit to assure return. |
Honestly Dirk for the money that you would save buying the R & R tools secondhand, pay shipping, potentially end up with a stripped or unusable tool, etc. you would be better served dropping the $70 on the new tools while buying the bearing from L & N. JMO

Why not buy new and then resell? You'll get to the same place and you'll have a nice new tool to use.
