Roof net
Since I am building a spec Boxster with fiberglass roof, I need to install a roof net, what is everyone using? Seems like options are pretty slim.

I need to do this as well and was looking at this net. Seems simple and reasonable enough.

I just bought the IO port net for our upcoming club race. Looks good, will fit it tomorrow. Have a matching window net (they do colors).
Still another stupid thing you may have to buy like a seat back brace that has dubious safety value. |
Thanks guys, this one looks like only option. I saw this one but was concerned because it is not SFI, but if others are using it, then works for me.

If it doesn't pass tech I'll let you know.
On the plus side it will never expire out. |
All good - got my PCA logbook. SFI not required on the top net.
The roof net is time consuming to install but passed without a hitch. I ordered an IOport 24" x 36" net. On my cage the 24" was a little wide, still I managed to get it tight enough. I put it on top of the cage. |
Thank you MaxD! Appreciate the assist.

I have this one but mounted it on top of the roll cage instead of under as in the photos.
Also you can sew a piece of velcro into it over your head to stick it to the roof so it doesn't rub on your helmet. https://naroescapemotorsports.com/product/teamtech-spec-boxster-roof-net/ |
