Bilstein B16 PSS 9 valving with Swift springs

I'm reviving this post as I've been unable to find answers. Perhaps this is part of the secret sauce people use in their setups? :) Has anyone had their shocks re-valved for the stiffer rates of the Swift springs. I would expect good gains as the shock must be working very hard to control the heavier springs. Or is there enough adjustment to increase rebound dampening sufficiently? My track time is extremely limited, so I would like to show up with the setup as close as I can get.

I have this suspension on my car, but I'm not able to get the papers needed to get them street-legal ( I live in Europe) because the Swift springs are not TÜF approved. Bilstein recommends reverting to the original springs which will make the kit street legal.

Does anyone know if the shocks are re-valved for the heavier Swift springs?
Here are the part numbers in case it helps.

Part number of the front shocks: VM35252
Part number of the rear shocks: VM35253

Unless someone sent them off for revalving they are most likely stock. Bilstein has such bad customer service in the US for service and rebuilds, I know of no one that has done this.

The Swift spec Boxster springs (I'm making an assumption that is what you have) are race parts and will probably never be TUV/TUF approved.

I don't know what level of scrutiny your inspectors strive for, but do you think they really know the difference between a blue or green main spring?

For aftermarket suspension they check the serial number of the springs and shocks and the numbers from the TUF approval must be entered into the vehicle registration card.

I'm surprised the shocks are stock. There must be a lot of tuning potential there if they are valved for softer springs. Is it common for 986 racers to tune their shock absorbers?
