SOLD! 99 Boxster Racecar ex POC SPB California

SOLD! 1999 Porsche Boxster race car. 2.7 liter motor, 5 speed transaxle, Toyo RR 255/40/17 tires with 5 heat cycles new this year. Full welded roll cage, Ex Porsche Owners Club Spec Boxster. Can be converted back to Spec Boxster with 2.5 liter motor.

$19,500 OBO. I have 5 racecars and one needs to go.

Chassis:
1998 straight pan with minor dents on bottom. Frame rails are true. Evidence of a minor contact in the left rear at the bumper shock mount. 996 front body work, recently replaced front and rear bumper skins, light weight fiberglass hard top, Lexan rear window, glass front windshield, gutted doors and interior, lights and wipers still operational, rear spoiler fixed in up position, car has full wrap in good condition with spare material for repairs, Momo steering wheel with quick release hub, stock shifter and shift cables, stock factory dash, working gauges and lights, stock fuel tank, factory ABS, 10lb battery (new 4/20), push/pull battery cutoff (new 4/20), Bilstein PSS9 adjustable shocks on all corners (Spec legal), New Stoptech slotted rotors in 2020 as well as new Hawk DTC 60/70 brake pads, factory brake calipers, 996 front sway bar (5 hole) with Tarrett drop links, stock rear sway bar with Tarrett drop links, camber adjustable with GT3 control arms front and rear, upgraded adjustable toe links in rear, factory aluminum bumpers, New Tarrett rear sub frame stabilization bar with tie downs (4/20), 20 New extended length wheel studs (4/20), 8-8.5” x 17” wheels, 3- 7” x 17” unpainted wheels, 2 of the 8.5” wheels have a minor bend on the interior lip, aluminum gas pedal extension, recently scaled, aligned and cross weighted (4/20) 50.2% RF/LR, 2744 lbs with 210 lb driver, car will be re-scaled, aligned and cross weighted for buyer before pick up,

Safety:
New (4/20) 4 liter Firesense system with dual activation pulls, Sparco 5 point harness valid until 2023, steering wheel quick release, 2014 Cobra Evolution GT (XL) ProFit full containment Halo style seat, (seat is fine for TT or DE may need replacement for racing depending on racing organizers rules) new window net and mount (4/20), 6 point professionally built cage with A and B pillar attachments, NASCAR bars on drivers side, X bracing on pass side 1.50” od x .120” wall DOM tubing, seat belt mounting bar, diagonal bar overhead, cross bar behind dash, ceiling net, extensive roll bar padding, factory tow loop in front, Sparco tow strap in rear (both new in 2020),

Drive train:
2.7 liter Boxster engine with 2.5 liter intake and exhaust, 2.5 liter DME (ECU), unknown hours on engine, (this was supposedly recently rebuilt but no documents were provided from last owner) engine looks fresh visually and runs good, see oil sample report, 3rd radiator up front with new ducting and screen, AC delete pulley and belt, header wrapped, 2/1 exhaust with megaphone,

May 2020: NEW air oil separator, 6 NEW BERU coil packs, 6 NEW spark plugs, New air filter, cooling system pressure checked, BILT racing 2 qt deep sump with skid plate, oil change and filter, oil sample,

Stock 5 speed non LSD, shifts good, CV axles checked good, wheel bearings all checked good.

I can’t seem to upload pics from my iPad. Even when I make them less than 2mb. I don’t see a way to change file type in my iPad either.

This car is on RacingJunk under GT cars. Lots of pics there.

I will keep trying.

Forum software doesn’t play nice with iPad software. When I first joined I had to post pics of my car from my android phone. Forum likes windows even more.
