SPB in Austin forsale $15K.

I previewed a solid SPB last Friday with a friend.

Owner owns a race shop -- built it for himself -- but family and other race cars are usurping his time and money.

Owner is asking a firm $15K -- and frankly thats a steal.

It's a good solid car. Not much time on the engine, new to the car tranny clutch

I wish my buddy had bought it (he's already got an E30) -- keep me from buying it as a backup.

Prefer a local Austin person buys it so I have a travel buddy -- but I'd like it to find a nice home either way.

PM me if you want more information or a relatively unbiased opinion.

Mike

Wow...that's why they say 'buy, don't build'

The guy who owns it and built it is one of the premier alignment and suspension guy’s in Texas. He has his own shop that sets the suspension on a lot oh high end exotic vehicles for racing. The buyer of this boxster will have a race car that’s ready to race. This is the cheapest spec boxster I’ve ever heard of. It really is an amazing deal

Saw it getting loaded up when I was at the shop last weekend.

Sold to a gent in Houston.

There was a guy in Indiana (I think) who had a WTB ad on pca.org for an SPB. I pointed him your way with a link to the thread. Looks like someone else got it. This seemed like a really good deal.

IMHO, someone got a great deal.

Thx for pointing them this way...
