racing at local track put on hold

Our local track was on land owned by the county and somebody posted a YouTube video that came to the attention of one the elected officials and all racing has been suspended pending a review. Wish us well.

It's the Sheriff track in OKC they use for their high performance driving training. Lots of local clubs use it for auto cross and have for years. One of the OKC councilmen got his panties in a twist (probably election related) and managed to get it off limits for the local clubs to use.

Hallett is fine. I was there over the weekend. It's a privately owned track. Nothing to worry about.

Attended Advanced Winter driving at that facility. Had a absolute blast. Highly recommend the experience. The best one though is at Steamboat Springs in Colorado. In the winter. On actual ice. Can't be beat.
