Light Weight Flywheel

Anyone have a recommendation for a Light Weight Flywheel
for a drive to the track Boxster S?

As with everything, this is a pretty touchy subject. I've read quite a few posts that suggest this is a BAD idea on a Boxster. Have you looked at all the data re: +/- of this change? I'd like to hear what you're thinking...

There may be lots of bad data, but here's my $.02. I put an Aasco LWFW in my car in March 2011. The car had just turned 140,000 miles. Along with the LWFW I installed a Spec Stage 3+ clutch with a sprung hub (not solid like stock).
Currently, the car has 173,030 miles on the same LWFW and clutch. It's seen 4 years of auto crossing averaging about 12 events per season.
It revs great and everything is holding together well. I'm looking forward to 2015 without any changes to this setup.

jfro, I am curious, did you have the three components balanced as a unit before you installed them or just install with no balance? Thanks

I just installed everything...and an underdrive pulley on the other end. The engine has never been out of the car.

I just installed the aasco on my S street car.....Sachs race sprung friction and a standard Sachs 997S 3.8 cover plate. (required).

You need shorter flywheel bolts.
