Confused about Toyo rain tires
 

Rule book states RA1s may be used as rain tires. Does this mean tires are open or I can only use RA1s?

I guess it depends on what event, what event organization, and what rulebook. Copy and past the exact language and we can make our best guess. The specific event chairman or CDI would be a better source for a ruling if you want to avoid a DSQ.

If you are talking about Spec Boxster, then Toyo RR must be used as the dry tire and Toyo RA1 may be used in the wet instead of the RR. You can still run the RR in the wet if you wish.
