SoCal POC DE July 28/29. All Cars Welcome!

The Porsche Owners Club (POC) will be hosting a Driver's Education event as part of the POC's Performance Driving Series on July 28 and 29 at the Pomona Fairgrounds road course. New drivers are welcome and will be provided top notch instruction at no cost. Pre-registration highly recommended.

I'll be there both days testing out the new PSS9 suspension along my with my son who will be driving his stock 2002 Miata. PM me and I'll be glad to meet you and help throughout the day.

Little t - I live in South Pas and another POC Boxster friend lives in Pasadena. We would be glad to have you attend the next POC DE event at Streets of Willow (near Lancaster) on Sept 8 and 9. If that is too soon, there will also be a DE event at AutoClub Speedway on Oct 13 and 14. You will be provided excellent professional instruction at no extra cost. All you need at a DE is long pants, a long sleeve t-shirt, and a helmet.

PM me if you'd like to talk or meet sometime to discuss further.

Check out the entire calendar of events at: ::Porsche Owners Club:: and click on EVENTS on the left side and then select "2012 Events" from the drop down box.

Thanks for the info thstone, I checked out the POC website, very cool! I would love to go to Laguna Seca! I have one quick question though, I don't have a Porsche yet, can I use my Volvo until I do?

Yes, you can drive your Volvo (or any car) in the DE's that I mentioned above (or what the POC called the Performance Driving Series or PDS). My son drove his Miata at the Pomona DE and had a great time.

You'll need to do a few events and get some seat time before you'll be able to participate in the Laguna Seca event. Currently that is limited to time trial drivers and Cup racing. I'll PM you my contact info.
