De amber headlights question.
I cannot seem to find the url for the fellow that used a soldering iron to de amber his litronic headlights. I have a set of the Halogen '03 lights and they seem to have the same interior amber. It doesn't bother me that much as it is subtle and I do have the clear side markers with the silver bulbs so this HL change will almost completely do away with the amber. I am wondering if his methods with the soldering iron would work on the Halogens as they did on the Lits.? Any buddy have experience along these lines they would care to share? 986geezer waiting for spring...........any day now I hope.

I couldnt find it either, I am going to do it, but I havent gotten around to finding some bulbs. Its the same as the litronics though.

Thanks for the quick response guys. Jonathan, do you have the same '03/04 halogens that you are going to install? The url provided by members of this fellowship is the one I was looking for and it has the info. for the bulbs. I have those bulbs in my clear tailights and side markers and they are great. Party on all ! 986geezer |
Ya, I know I could buy the silvervision bulbs, but I dont wanna shell out the cash. Ive painted orange bulbs and have them turn out great and blink brightly (only use high temp paint on bulbs). So I have to look for porsche sized orange bulbs.
