djomlas 02-25-2007 12:15 PM

nice ride, but yuk with all that suade :barf:

Marc Gelefsky 02-25-2007 12:18 PM

To many plastic body parts and I shudder to think what my dog could do to that interior! :)

Dr. Kill 02-25-2007 01:12 PM

I am not crazy about the wing or the "wicked GTR" badging, but I could learn to live with it - that car is hot.

or just peel those letters off

Boxtaboy 02-25-2007 01:20 PM

Interior indicates it is not a 997, but actually a 996 based car. A bit too much, imo.

Grizzly 02-25-2007 01:25 PM

These guys have an entire business based on rebuilding wrecks. That would be my concern. The cars look great, but what did they start with?

Their description says they started with an 04 TT Cab. So, they took an 04 and turned it into an 08. Neat trick!

djomlas 02-25-2007 01:36 PM

so how can they still title it as an 08?

SigmaPi 02-25-2007 03:55 PM

Seriously,

If I was paying that much for a car, I don't want it to be a rolling billboard for the company. Porsche is fine, WICKED WICKED wicked is not. I am not "peeling" it off as well, the dealer can take $100 of my $180,000 check and do it himself. Seriously, people have that much money for such a classless, crass, and tactless car? It looks like my 16 year old neighbor and all his friends chose the colors, then designed it based on committee. BLAH! That thing actually hurts my eyes. :barf:

husker boxster 02-25-2007 04:28 PM

Honestly, did anyone finish the entire schpeel they wrote? I quit after the 20 lines about the extra wide quarters and front fenders. Whadda buncha drivvel.

djomlas 02-25-2007 04:36 PM

or at least use a better camera to really show what the car looks like, and not take 15 pictures showing the SAME EXACT angle.

Actually, It says it's an 04

boggtown 02-25-2007 05:01 PM

Ya, I was refering to how amazing it is that they went though all that trouble. Of course someone would only do that work to a wrecked car, lol. The colors and design look kinda wierd and flamboyant, but the execution was great in my opinion. And its freakin awesome it was a 7 inch lip.

djomlas 02-25-2007 05:01 PM

they say 04 and 08, weird man, and you also get the good ol' salvage title

Brucelee 02-25-2007 05:22 PM

JUNK,

Since there are no bids yet, I guess there "isn't a sucker born every minute!"

Marc Gelefsky 02-25-2007 05:50 PM

165K for a salvage car!! jeeez!! the sheer audacity!

bosxter7 02-25-2007 06:07 PM

basicaly what can they throw to gether to rebuld the car for cheap its no good for street cause it has a salvage tittle

djomlas 02-25-2007 07:21 PM

well you can drive a car w salvage title, thats not a problem
but paying THAT MUCH money for a car w salvage title is crazy

Peer 02-25-2007 08:57 PM

I'm with SigmaPi -- that car looks like a juvenile project, and also their use of the English language in the ad seems to be on par with everything else they produce.

Bavarian Motorist 02-25-2007 10:41 PM

This car just beat the ruf rk spyder as the most beautiful car I've ever seen.

Too bad it's a salvage title. This car is stunning.

EDIT: Umm...

Did anyone read the red writing after this?

LMAO, what kind of credible company says stuff like THAT?

LOLOLOLOL

I bet your all gonna feel bad about giving that kit car guy hell over his creation. His is like a million times better than this thing. I think this was the same car that was posted a long time ago that was all primered and unfinished in someones back yard. The best part is the description... definately an ESL guy...

The back of it lokos awful....I do like the green paint on the Lambo next to it tho.....that was some struggling english, a Confertable that's Fan to drive

aren040 02-26-2007 08:50 AM

Front end looks like pure childish rice to me. Or since its German I guess it would be sauerkraut. Things I see wrong.

1. The front bumper does not seem to align correctly.

2. For $180,000 I would expect a well written out ad as opposed to something that I can not even read all the way through without half a bottle of Tylenol and a 13 year old myspace junkie for use as a translator.

3. Although plenty of photos were presented, I would expect better quality images than what they have up. Plus I would want closeups of the fitment and paint.

4. These people sound like little kids making their ads look foolish. Might as well type your ad in leet speak (i.e. 1 h4Ve H3r3 a P0r5cH3). Come on people why cant you use paragraphs and regular black writing on white background so that I , as well as others, can actually read what the hell it is that you are trying to sell.

5. $180,000 salvaged car? Sorry buddy, it just is not going to happen. Well, then again I guess there is a sucker born every minute.

Why you are bodering dis guy? Confertables are fan to drive. He takes bad car that is in accsidant, checks braks, handeling, suspention to make safe. Then he put new wells, spear tire and very quality profecional instolation of body kit.
Now that it is convert it, he gets lots off complements and its good for the buisness too, but he has no time to injoy.

So what do you guys do? Make fun of him.

Damn, that was hard to type. My spell check just started smoking. Is that bad?

I was actually talking about the yellow 04/08 whatever it is.

Also I bet you that they describe it as an 08 but actually mean "08 look". The car will still be registered as an 04 salvage titled vehicle.

Bavarian Motorist 02-26-2007 03:48 PM

It's a shame. It's the best looking car I've ever seen.

John V 02-27-2007 02:41 AM

Uggghhh... Rice-o-rific. What an ugly POS.

Dr. Kill 02-27-2007 03:07 AM

The following items do not seem to be in-line with a reputable business:

- The signs on their showroom are obviously bad (not even photoshop) hacks. They clearly don’t have the showroom in the eBay pics.
- A somewhat brief Internet search turns up nothing about this company - nothing
- The company’s phone number is a cell phone registered in VanNuys, not the primary number of a car company
-12311 Sherman Way is actually the address of a Hertz dealership, not Wicked Motors or whatever.

Gotta love it…

-edit- apparently, they have a webiste:
