Down to Two Cars

First time poster seeking advise about up coming purchase.

Well I have looked at a bunch of cars and am down to two.

Car One
2002 Boxster S 34k miles, PSM, Heated seats and new tires. Decent condition, with nics here and there , two owner car, offered by a local independant Porsche repair shop, with 30 day, 1000 mile warranty. Current bottom line price $26,800. Color Silver on Black.

Car Two
2002 Boxster S 22k miles, PSM, Bose, trip computer option. Excellent shape, two owner car, well cared for and all current records. Private owner agreeing to do a PPI. Expected bottom line price $27000- 28000. Color Black on Black.

My head says buy the car with warranty but I really like the other car as it's the cleanest car in my price range I have seen. What should O do?? :)

Thanks for everyoes help. Cheers

My advice, buy the nicest car you can afford. Try to figure out which options are important to you and pick a car that you will be happy with! Have the PPI done and dont let warranty scare you. You can purchase an aftermarket warranty easily. Do a search for warranty on the forum.

If I could recommend some options, the Full Leather is nice, 18 inch wheels, Litronics, PSM and heated seats will come in handy in MD. Radio, on board computer... not important at least to me.

Get car two and go w/ your gut.

It's nicer, less miles, and only slightly more expensive.

A 30 day/1000 mile warranty isn't much. you can buy an aftermarket warranty if you really want one ;)

Go with the one you like best (gut feeling) after a PPI is done. I'd rather have heated seats (mmm top down cruising in the cold weather) than a trip computer (oh, 30mpg ;) )

Test em both.. maybe play one off the other when it comes to buying. Sounds like both are good cars.
