Do any of you use a guard.............

for under the front bumper to prevent any scrapes with parking lot stops?
If so, where do you buy it?

Due to the low clearance, when I had my BMW Z4, I bought a protective, clear plastic guard strip from LeatherZ.com that bolted underneath the front bumper protecting the bumper paint from scrapes when you accidently park too far in front then hitting the parking stops. Is anything like that available for the Boxster (987)? Thanks.

Haven't seen anything specifically for the Boxster and most of the things I've seen for other cars are pretty whimpy... From the looks of the underside of my "00 Red Boxster the previous owner had a hard time estimating distances! He would have needed an armor skid plate. I think these are available somewhere...

Hi,

The ironic thing about these protectors is that they reduce your ground clearance even more (albeit slightly), meaning you'll have more bottoming out...

Happy Motyoring!... Jim'99

Ive got the boomerrang, very heavy duty and looks like itd protect your bumper from breaking to an extent.
