Nice pics as usual dj! Though if I had to choose between the silver or the red spears, I like the silver ones better on your boxster.

yea well silver ones took the clearcoat off my car, so im done w them.
they were actually brushed aluminum and much thicker so i think that may have comtributed.
i actually like the contrast on the back, so as they say im the one driving it all the time so as long as im happy hehehe
and yes, its ridiculously cold out there

Dj -
Hate to say but I too thought the "brushed Aluminum" looked better, but it is your ride and you have the final say . But still looks sharp my friend!

Actually, I'm diggin' the red better. It compliments the 550 tail lights and center stop lamp quite well.
It may get into the mid-60s this week here in Dallas... although, this is the week I'm heading to Illinois.

Silver's more subtle, but the red works with the lights.
You've switched them twice in 2 days, you might make it a ritual, according to whim.
Stay warm (windchills of 22 below here tonight!)

hehe, well i wouldt have switched them if the silver ones would want to stay on there. i think they were too thick so they didnt like to be bent at that angle and it kept bubbling up, weird, so i figured let me take them off and redo them in red, and while i was taking them off...well yea

Heres my mod of the taillights, Thanks to DJ i couldnt help myself and it came out pretty good, Sorry the pictures were taken with my sk2 and they dont do the taillights justice... In person, they look like a solid ruby red but the image captured a slight difference of tone from the bottom and top half.

What he just said. I like the silver ones for your car. It went better with your car's color. Oh well, to each his own. By the way, what kind of vinyl are you using for the silver? It should not do that. Try buying a matalic silver instead of brushed alluminum. Make sure it's the premium type with a glossy finish. That's what I used for my windsheild "porsche" decal. But did it in a seal grey matalic so it would match my car color.

I'll be staying about 30 miles outside of the city, closer to Joliet actually.
I'll be heading up to the city a few times hopefully. Thursday night for some autoshow after party thing, then Sunday morning for the autoshow itself. And hopefully a couple other times for food and burgers (maybe pizza) with you Boxster folk.
I'll make a post on who wants to go.
