Suspension/Frame Creak when Turning??

Has anyone had experience with an isolated creak in the suspension or frame when turning into a driveway or sightly elevated ramp? It sounds like it orginates from the right strut area, and will only pop once when turn into the driveway at home or a business with a little incline in their driveway.

Thanks,

Mark

Suspension creaks and noises are near impossible to isolate though a forum cause it could be just about any suspension part cause eventually they all wear out and creak pop chatter clunk clank rattle and tap at some point in there lifetime. Your going to need to take it into a suspension/aligment shop and have them take a look

My rear strut top was totally cracked

My shop had to weld it back together. Porsche may have strenthened this area in later models. Mine is a '97.

Mark,

I've got the same thing in my 01 2.7.

Took it to the dealer who said they used an impact wrench on every last bolt underneath the car but it still does the "creak" when it hits the incline.

Just like you, it's only on the inclines. No creak over speed bumps or potholes.

Sorry, no solution for you, just comiserating!

sounds?

its natural for the car to make noises when it is flexed on a incline or a angle approach to a driveway.

If its a really loud loud creak that you haven't heard before, if you have equipments lift the car up and look at the boots and see if they are busted= no grease

I hear creaks in the dash and console  , only when inclined and on an angle. I'm pretty used to it and put it down to the flex factor?

PS.....EURO, nice sig!!!! (oh and the car is nice too :D )
