Porsche Mechanic Needed

Hi,
I'm new to this forumn. Can someone recommend a Porsche Mechanic (non dealer) around the Orange County California area? My boxster failed smog due to engine light. Thanks.

Goto Autozone and have them scan your computer, they offer this OBDII scanner service free of charge. Once they tell you why the check engine light is on, you can tell us here and we can hopefully help you without needing a mechanic.

Let me know when you find one!

As a new owner of a 2002 Boxster who also lives in OC (Irvine to be exact), let me know if you find a good mechanic. I'm sure I'll need one eventually! Thanks!

Check this place out:

They maintained my car for the PO, and did the PPI. I have been impressed everytime I visited that shop.

How about in the greater Los Angeles area? Anyone know of a really good mechanic in this area? Someone who won't charge you an arm and a leg?

try Hergesheimer

I've been happy with Hergesheimer Motorsports in Lake Forest.
