Please Help!! S Muffler On A Non S???

I am wondering if an S muffler will fit on a non s model and if it will make any improvement on performance.

The 2.7/3.2 mufflers are a direct swap. The insides are identical. The only difference is the single or dual tips - which is cosmetic.
