anyway, I'm thinking I want to go now, what reasoniong are you giving the ladies to talk them into this being worthwhile for them!?

Top Ten reaons/excuses to tell your wife you must go to TOD.

1. I'll be out of your hair for the next few days
2. You'll be out of my hair for the next few days.
3. I won't steal the covers in bed since I'm gone.
4. this is the 20th century version of Visionquest.
5. I need to be alone during my midlife crisis for the next few days since I bought the Porsche, even though I said the Porsche was for you.
6. my job is stressfull and I need to hit the road much like the mountainmen at the turn of the 18th century.
7. In my dreams I see dead people. I need to get away.
8. I've got an itch and I need to scratch.
9. I have a sudden urge to vist Civil War sites in the south.
10. I'm going to pick up milk. I'll be right back.

Good luck with any of these.

Alright, got the time off work and I'm definately in.

I like bmussatti's idea of doing half on Thursday and half of the drive on Friday. I'll be in Naperville by 4pm Thursday afternoon.

But if the majority are going to convoy on Friday morning I'm game.

Either way is cool with me.

okay who is for real going?!?! I don't want to set this up and find out everyone backed out......I talked to the woman about this at it appears that she is interested in taking a trip with me so I can drive on a twisty road......I am guessing that is all there is to this trip......I'm sure she is going to want a nice dinner out of me when we get there tho.....

DJ- they (Two Wheel Inn) require a one night deposit and a 2 night minimun stay. Hope you make it!

I was quoted $70 a night, with a two week cancellation policy that would cost $20 if needed, so you can't go wrong and something happens and you cannot make it.

I would book now, though, not sure how many rooms they have left...

Nick
