Hey Pete, nice article and IMHO you are a classy guy for turning this thread around.
On another note I don't know WTFIGOH in this Forum there is way too much animosity, please cool off with a nice cold Beer Guys. |

I agree, but can you imagine this bad boy with 400 hp, 400 lbs of torque? |
crazy 968's
I will tell you what,
There is a shop in Az called Powerhaus. They do crazy stuff to 944's and 968. They turn a stock 968 into a Turbo S 968 on roids. It makes 500hp TO THE WHEELS. It is crazy. Check it out. http://www.powerhaus.com/ |
Pete,
I just read through the magazine. It really is a great issue! The Boxster in the $20k article looks like it's wheels are sticking out pretty far but there's no spacers mentioned in the article. Is the offset of the wheels setting them farther out or did that Boxster have spacers? If so, what were the thickness? |
I'm suprised no one mentioned the "20 Years of Porsche Supercars" article.
That GT1 is one bad a$$ car ! I didn't even know it existed... Available online : http://www.excellence-mag.com/ Nick |
Great issue!
I have to agree with the findings that the 911 is definately rewarding if you have a little bit of skill. The Boxster can be driven well by most and was the newer of the cars with some nice features. I am not a 968 fan... I have driven a few of them and it feels very VW to me... sorry. |
