Hi,

You should be fine, but the handling characteristics will change somewhat dramatically going with that tall a sidewall. Just don't get on the Loud Pedal too much until you've adapted to them...

Hi,

I'd have concerns about the directional stability of that wide a front tire, especially in ice and snow. It's going to have a larger contact patch, reducing the weight/in.². This means the tires will have a reduced bite and want to float resulting in gross understeer. Too much? I don't know without having experienced it, but certainly more than a narrower tire. But with Winter Tires, narrower is usually better...

You definitely do not want a 235 width tire on the stock 7" front rim. Furthermore a wider tire gives less grip in the snow, not exactly what you want.

My snows are 205 front and 245 rear and they work great.
