Honk after locking. Grr.

Hello all. Since coming out of winter storage, my 2000 S alarm won't arm properly.
I get the honk, and dome light comes on a second or so after locking. The dash led flashes twice quickly every few seconds. All signs of not arming.
In PIWIS with the car locked, everything is showing closed/locked/safe locked.

There are no alarm faults stored after locking and checking.

There was no country code, just dashes, so I put US (I'm in Canada), no effect.
I'm at a loss now, since nothing abnormal is being reported. Anyone have any ideas?

Pics of the states attached.

Thanks.

Had a similar experience with my Cayman.

Have you tested opening your doors after you 'lock' it? Sounds like one of the doors isn't locking for some reason.

Yeah, all locked. I did try the handles as well. Whats frustrating is that as far as I can see, everything is showing locked and secured.
No faults, no event codes. The activation code shows "secured via radio" which means it was done via the fob. But it doesn't show any reason why it kicks off. I tested the interior sensor and it works.
Just doesn't make sense so far.

I'm having the same issue with my car. No codes and everything is locked. I have noticed that if I don't slam the drivers door hard I will get the 2 beeps. If the top is down, the door locks fine with no beeps, It appears that the air pressure in the car when closing the door somehow affects the door locking mechanism. I've decided to replace the drivers door latch mechanism and will be getting to do that soon.
