Camshaft Sensors

Hello All
I was hoping for some advice, My boxster has a misfire and the check engine light comes on. The car still runs and does not stall and will restart when warm if needed.
I connected a diagnostic device (iCarsoft) and it said the following:
Fault code P0343 - Phase Sensor 1 (Camshaft Hall effect Sensor 1).
I then checked You Tube and got stumped! Apparently most people seem to think that the issue is the Impulse Speed sensor. There was only 1 video for the hall sensor, neither of these were having the issues that I was having.
Now I do not know whether to change the Impulse/Speed sensor or the Hall sensor. Google AI suggested the hall sensor, which makes sense because the fault caused is mistiming, and check engine light whereas the impulse/speed sensor causes stalling when hot and not restarting until cold.
Any help would be appreciated!
