1998 Fob Repair

Hello, I have a 1998 Boxster and I'm trying to get my Fob in working order. One of the chips is damaged on my Fob. A bought a few used Fobs in hopes of finding a replacement part, but they all seem to be newer designs. I believe the shattered component I'm looking for is a 315 MHz SAW Resonator.

I'm wondering if anyone has any older dead Fobs (I'm guessing from 1997 or 1998 - US market) that I could use for spare parts (actually just the one spare part). Here is a picture of my broken component (note - mine is broken and missing the cover). You should be able to see it sticking out by the battery holder.

Here is what I believe an intact chip looks like

Thanks in advance!

Reach out to member particlewave. He has fixed fobs before and may have the part and/or be able to repair it for you
