Turn signal issues

Hey everyone,

I recently bought a 2004 Boxster base and have been wrenching on it to make it perfect. I got the car running properly with a new water pump, thermostat and heater control valve. I went for a drive and noticed that the turn signals sometimes don’t work or sometimes they stay solid or sometimes when I hit the stock nothing happens I read online that may be the hazard button is stuck so I hit that a few times and the turn signals would work after, but I couldn’t replicate it. I am ordering a new hazard button just to be on the safe side, but was wondering if anyone else can help me with this problem?

Thanks

The turn signal mechanism itself is also known to cause issues. Honestly, they all feel terrible, but some feel more terrible than others and they seem to be close to failing.

But as I think this is an expensive part, I'd check all the electrics first. Get yourself a wiring diagram and work yourself through it. Obviously the bulbs are ok, but the rest is to be checked.
