I just finished reassembly of a 106,000 mile engine. The wear pads looked similar, but fortunately hadn’t broken apart yet.
This makes me wonder if anyone on here has had occasion to look at theirs after rebuilding with the upgraded pads and have some miles.
It would be interesting to see if there is an improvement.
