Exclamation [AOS] Did i just break the crankcase ??!

So i was replacing the AOS on my recently reman 986 Boxster 2.7 2004, and when i wiggled and removed the AOS successfully, i see the crankcase casting looking like its broken (chipped) and iim wondering how on earth i could have done it with the plastic AOS tube.

How normal is this and shall i consider an oil change asap in order to get rid any metal things in the engine ?

I wouldn't be concerned, that looks like factory casting flash.

I agree with JFP. You didn’t do that - it’s been there has been like that since day one, and is nothing to worry about.
