Coolant expansion tank

hello all. So i was replacing my bleeder valve due to a leak. Still leaks. I may have stripped one of the screw holes. Can i run a slightly longer screw or slight fatter screw in that hole? Or do i risk cracking tank? Or has anyone squirt JB weld or something else in hole and then prefilled for screw? Or am i stuck replacing tank? Suggestions???
