Rear wheel bearing
I need help . I pressed bearing into wheel carrier pressed wheel hub into bearing tightened front 4 bolts front bearing keeper grab wheel hub and thers is alot of play . Did I buy some bad bearings . What is supposed to keep tension on inner race .Everthing pressed in correctly . I dont get this Please help.

Gabe, have you install and torqued the driveshaft center nut (30/32mm..?)
The first time I did that job, I installed the side of the magnetic strip outwards, and immediately got an ABS warning failure on the dash.. needless to say, I had to buy two more and start all over again :rolleyes:. Replacing the bearings is a very straight forward job but a real pain in the rear |
Also don’t forget to put the bearing retaining plate back on before pressing in the hub. I forgot to do that on one of mine and had to redo it, not fun!

I tend to disagree. It is likely to have some play without the driveshaft or stub axle tightened. These are the parts that pull the inner races tightly together. The hub won't do it.
As reference I have my little wreck without front stub axles in, it wiggles like mad :eek: |
