DRL also wired with parking lights
 

Hey everyone, I picked up my Boxster last fall. It's a 2001 S. It's a US import to Canada, and when they imported it, they wired all of the parking lights on with the ignition as DRLs. I've noticed there are much better options for DRLs, and would like to resolve this.

My question is, where should I start? The headlight switch? The fuse panel? A very cursory look doesn't show anything that stands out without disassembly. The fuse panel hasn't been jumped, and there is no DRL relay.

If you were going to do this modification, how would you do it? I figure that's the best place to start.

There’s almost a 100% chance all they did was put jumpers from a keyed hot fuse position (in my car, from the unused seat heater fuse) to the right and left marker light fuses.
