Intermittent Starting Issue, 01 Boxster S

Intermittent Starting Issue. Looking for some troubleshooting help on my 2001 Boxster S (986.1, 105k miles, manual).

Lately, I’ve been experiencing occasional lazy starts, and today it has started to not crank at all sometimes when I turn the key. It’s intermittent, but it’s becoming more frequent.

I’m thinking about starting with relays—do they tend to fail intermittently before completely going bad?

Also wondering about the positive battery cable—is internal corrosion a common issue on these cars?

What else should I check? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Run a voltage drop test across both primary battery cables, maximum drop should be less the 0.5 volt.

Thank you. Should I run it from the front to the engine/starter?

Update: I am pretty sure it was my clutch switch that was bad. It has not acted up since.
I made a small jumper for my toolkit with the car, so that if this issue occurs again, I can jump the clutch switch to confirm if that's the issue or something else.
