Borla on 2002 Boxster base

I have not needed to take this metal plate on picture out when changing the exhaust from base to S and back.
Have you tried to leave the original plate in the transmission and connect the exhaust to that? |
Won't connect. Pattern on exhaust bracket is made for matching transmission bracket.
Decided I'll leave off that plate and make a new spacer between exhaust & transmission |
