When the front fog lights are on, and I use the front right turn signal, this happens

It's like a disco on wheels...

Any ideas on how to solve this? The passenger side works as expected...

Thanks in advance!

The wiring inside the headlights of these car is biodegradable. I expect that the insulation had come off some of the wiring inside the headlight and is shorting across the different lights.
Remove the headlight, pull off the back cover and take a look at the wiring.

Thanks for the pointer! It honestly looks like a mess. Cracked insulation everywhere with quite a few patches of exposed wire. I did my best to patch it up with liquid tape, but get the same results. Someone else had mentioned that it might be the polarity of the LED bulbs so I'll also try and turn those around in the hopes it's that instead...

You can get very nice new wiring harnesses here. Just have to remove the front lense.

I got a similar fault when trying to change all the bulbs to LED. I had to leave some incandescent bulbs in place to get proper function.

By the way, all the wiring connections can be made without removing the lens. You can also replace all the wiring for few bucks if you are handy with a soldering iron.

Do you remember which ones you were able to change over? My current setup is that the low beam bulbs and fog light bulbs are LED, all the others are still incandescent.

Also, that's great news about not having to remvove the lense for the new wiring harness, I saw a video of how to remove that lense and it looked horrendous! :)

How are you getting to all the wires without removing the lens? I can see some of it could be accessed from the back but the turn signals, fog light wiring?

It’s a “lens”, and it looks harder than it is.

Sorry, I don't recall for sure. I believe only my low beam headlights and parking lights are LED.

You can dangle a weighted string through to those lights and use it to fish the connector through.

Uh, I'd like to see that dangle. 🙄
