LOL
the plate thing is for quick on an offs. For those pesky meter maid guys who give out no plate front tickets or that trek through this one town notorious for giving pcar guy tickets, or for that once a year DMV inspection...where is my front plate anyway I haven't seen that thing is ages..

Quick off and ons? I just pull mine off, simple, 3 seconds is all. Stock mounting hardware that fits in the little square holes. I can push it back on in 2 seconds, lol.

I thought it was a way to mount a mower deck on my Boxster. Might be a good way to earn a little extra cash on the week ends while driving your favorite car.

Ha
Well, that was just my attempt at sounding like I'm from NC, but I'm from Holland and just live here, together with the many other imports in the RTP area. Don't think there's that many P-car drivers that actually say y'all...
On the other hands, the ladies with a (slight) Southern accent actually sound rather sexy!

Probably not a lot of P-car owners that say Youse Guys either. Just my attempt to sound like I'm from my old home town of Philadelphia. Cheesteaks, anyone?

Hi,
Too much! I was born in Philly too - Drexel Hill. Youse Guys is good, but iggles (eagles) will really identify you...

Oh wow! A while ago when I got a ticket for not having a front plate I went looking for a product like this. I found one guy that had been making them for the Mini Cooper guys. We traded emails for a while, with me determining that the Porsche tow hook threads are different than the Mini's. But I told him that there really wasn't a HUGE market for these for Porsches and then we kind of trailed off from there.
Interesting to see that someone else made one.

I keep my front plate in the trunk. I use duct tape behind the plate when I need the car inspected.
Where can you get a license plate holder like Frank Martin uses in "The Transporter"?
