Pressure line for power steering
 

Howdy ,

I'm rebuilding my 986 from an accident and trying find the best solution.

Old power steering line and return is gone and can't be repaired.

I did manage get 2nd hand pressure line and return but after fitting it's looking like it's from RHD car not LHD.

New ones are over the budget hence I need find some way to use one which is looking like it's from RHD.

Cutting earlier and fitting rubber cable would work ( of course it will be done by specialist shop )

Any other ideas?

Post #57 in this thread shows the successful repair I made to the return hose. Hydraulic hose and clamps.

The high pressure line may be more difficult, a hydraulic specialist should be able to help you, either with the fabrication of new lines or repairing/adapting what you have.
