car in the paint shop!!
took her in last night to get the GT-3 front bumper & air intakes painted & installed!!!
pretty good price $500 for the bumper & $175 for the intakes. Speaking of the intakes, I picked these up pretty cheap, what do you guys think? I thought they look pretty cool, plus the way the intakes are stock was one thing I never really liked on the Box. These sort of add a turbo look to the box, plus maybe a small ram air effect. Thats is what the maker claims, but I have doubts. |
Someone else on the list wanted these and I couldn't find them online to go back and tell them. Where did you buy them?
I like them and might add them to my car one day. |
Yea, I think they look pretty cool too....where did they come from?
How 'bout some pics of the new bumper also? |
Hey, mines in the shop too with my diffusers, were like twins. If only my sideskirts would get here...
But anywho, it gets back from beadblasting monday and gets painted tuesday. So yours might be back before mine... lucky... |
I always think of those as a carbon f. catcher's mitt to scoop up all the acorns and pebbles that usually bounce of the car. :D
Congrats on the bumper, makes a big difference. |
they are made by kokeln here is the link http://www.kokeln.com/
They are the only maker, but they are pretty expensive direct, I got mine off ebay. They are usually on ebay. BTW I got the fiberglass ones, not the CF ones because I wanted to paint them body color. I love carbon fiber, but I do not like the look of CF mixed with with the body color on the exterior. The fiberglass ones are much cheaper too. I can't wait to see how they look on the car painted. As soon as I get it back I will post pics. |
