The mouse that roared (p0450 and p0450)

Hi all, have a 986 S 146,000 (100,000 me) runs great but had trouble filling tank so replaced the vent valve. No dice. So in search of a leak due to the codes p0450 and. p0455 I removed battery & support and find a mouse chewed through what I believe is the wiring to the EVAP sensor. See picture. And it is crazy how dirty it is but I will address that!

Questions, am I correct that this will throw those codes and how difficult is it to replace the wiring harness that was eaten? I have done a lot of work myself including replaced top, crankshaft position sensor etc. so have some ability. Anyway, can I repair thiss myself? Many thanks in advance!
