Front Trunk spring?
 

When I pull the lever to open the front trunk on my 1999 Boxster, it unlatches, but it doesn't raise up a little, like I assume it is supposed to. It takes a bit of effort to wedge a finger under there to raise the hood and move the latch to lift it. Any ideas? Thanks. This is my first post.
