Thanks, I did check this just to be sure and it's in manual mode, isn't bouncing/moving back.

I'm thinking it's electrical-associated. You could pull the steering wheel... spends a lot of time hunting. Me, after my experience, would just take it in too have the codes read.

No worries this is really helpful, thanks very much. I have some local Porsche specialists so see if I can get them to read the codes.
