I'm thinking about this...

I let me car sit in the garage for days in a row and needless to say it's occuring more often since the weather is changing. My old car cover has a small tear in it and I don't know what the last owner did with it(could have dirt that could scratch the car). Anyone used this company for a cover? Does anyone know if the material will scratch, they say it won't but I have been fooled before?

Blink, don't buy an $18 car cover if you love your car. Get a flannel lined car cover from cover king or similar place. It will cost you about $100-150 but you will like it. It's for indoor storage but it is very soft on the inside. I like mine.

P.S. they will leave lint on the top so if that is a problem look into the Satin Snugfit cover. It will cost you more though.

Blink, I bought the exact same cover from the same dude. Like you, my car is in the garage, waiting for the right weather, so the cover is mostly for dust. The cover is not really cut for a Boxster specifically, I think on the box was a check mark for "medium". The cover has a two year mfg warranty. It fits over the back of the car pretty well. (Cover pic 001) I folded in the mirrors. (Cover pic 002) The front doesn't quite make it all the way - the bottom edge of the bumper is exposed. (Cover pic 003) The inside is soft, but it's not flannel - I don't think that scratches are a concern. (Cover pic 004) The only negative I felt, was putting it on a newly polished car was kind of like a Three Stooges routine. The car and the cover were so slippery, that it just fell off of where ever I tried to start attaching it. I finally gathered the cover into a ball on the roof, then gingerly pulled it back over the tail, then front over the hood. The elastic is very tight - so tight that unhooking the front bumper causes the cover to fly 3/4 of the way up the hood. (Cover pic 005) For an indoor dust cover, it works for me, and the price was right.

i have a duster, california one, and i bet it takes less time to dust it off real quick than to play games with that slippery cover. same results but cheaper

True, dusting is cool, but I also like the mystery of visitors wondering what it is that's under that cover... Lurking... Waiting to be exposed... Sitting on those cool big fat rear tires, that central single exhaust. What could it be?,,,

Blinkwatt, the weather in Sacramento can't be so bad that it warrants you to put it up for the winter. Drive it and have fun!!!!!!

Oh trust me it's driven, but there are times where it just sits. I wish the weather was a little more warm and less rain,it's just starting to occur more often.

I am with ya on that one Buffalo. My car just sits in the garage with no cover. I just makes sure it gets a wash first thing when I take it out.
