Rear toe control arm
 

Are the toe control arm for 986 and 996 the same part ? Megan racing make them 911 .996-997 Rear Toe Control Arms for Porsche Boxster 05-12 / Cayman 07-12 / 911 (996/997) - MRS-PC-0470 if they fit a 996 why wont they fit a 2000.986 ...?

the rear suspension in a 996 is completely different than a 986. rear vs mid-engine ...

The rear lateral rods are 996 parts (996-331-045-12) and have been superseded to 997-331-045-04. If you check the Porsche dealer parts sites it states it’ll fit 986, 996, 987, 997.

So it’s most likely that, yes, they’ll fit. But it’s best to ask them directly first.

apologies; i'll own that one. the rear suspension is completely different, however i was unaware they still shared parts ...

I have these same Megan toe arms installed on my 04. They fit fine. I installed them over a year ago when I installed coilovers.
