6mm IMS studs size?

Hello all.
Doing the IMS on my 2000 Boxster S and I have ran into an issue! The stud size on the bearing is M6, not M8! The LN engineering tool kit uses the M8 thread on the hex bolt so it obviously doesn’t fit. I reacehd out to them via email eat this week and they confirmed the bearing was indeed an OEM bearing, but they thought they sent me the wrong hex so they overnighted me a new one. Nope! Still an M8 thread. I tried calling LN today but they appear to be closed for the holidays.

Opinions on just knocking the stud back into the shaft and removing the bearing with the special tool in the LN kit? Would like to get this done over the holidays.

In all the years I've been doing retrofits, I have never seen a 6MM center bolt. That said, M6 to M8 tread adaptors exist, even Amazon sells them for $5 for a box of them:

https://www.amazon.com/s?k=m6+to+m8+adapter&crid=2QAKA3D4300YW&sprefix=m6 +to+m8%2Caps%2C153&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_1_8

Well that’s not good! I couldn’t find anything online about it either but figured someone must have done one at some point. I’ll check the Amazon stuff out
