Soft top issue
 

Our 2004 Boxster 986 soft top roof opens intermittently. When not working the windows do not drop as they normally do when it works. Not sure if the roof latch switch may need looking at (seen the ends may need soldering) or could it be the large black relay? Has anyone had similar issues and how was it resolved. Thanks for any help here.

Make sure the car knows the hand brake is on, I had the micro switch wire for the hand brake pinched, so the car thought it was not on, similar symptoms.
