Why do my posts keep disappearing?
 

Both my threads and my replies get posted only 50% of the time. I'll post a thread and check on it a week later just to see that it never posted. I don't get any moderator disapproval messages, so IDK what is happening.

After reading some other complaints on this site, it seems that including a non pelican link will often prevent your thread from getting posted..I tested it, and this seems true. Yikes

I have similar issues, somebody also said longer posts might disappear.
I think the reason is there were a lot of spam bots a few years ago and this is the solution the mods came up with...
I made my account around the same time and I had to wait for over an year before the mods whitelisted me so I could at least reply to posts.
