durametric downloading software help.
 
hey Guys ,

so just received my new Durametric diagnostics cable from LN engineering -

I m having a hard time downloading the software . I m running windows 11 with trend micro maximun security , system just not allowing the download

tried disabling scan for treats , scan for suspiciuos virus on Tren micro

any ideas greatly appreciated

I would turn off your security software and try downloading again. I have a Durametric also and downloaded software with no problem and security software was enabled. I also have Windows 11 installed on my computer.

Durametric will want to make changes on your computer and your other software won't allow it. Turn it all off.

FYI for anybody else running into this issue :

windows 10 and 11 run on "S mode " protecting computer from suspicious downloads

NOT sure how I got that switched off - however that's what it needed to be done to be able to download this software.

all done and running now
