Engine/Tiptronic Noise
 

Trying to figure out what this noise is? 1999 Tiptronic...

Not an expert by any means, but the sound seems to be the power steering pump..

Have you tried removing the belt, briefly run the engine to see if the noise goes away?
If so, then turn each accessory (and tensioner pulleys) by hand..

PS pump and reservoir are good. Pulled the belt and ran it without anything up front spinning... Noise is still whining. Stethoscope is super loud on the housing for the AT.
