Sold my Boxster

After 9 very good years of ownership I have sold my 2003 Boxster S to a fellow Winnipegger. I purchased the car in the fall of 2014 with 46,000 Miles on the odometer and put on just over 30,000 Miles in the 9 years with a couple of extended western Canadian and US trips in that time. The Covid years greatly reduced the number of miles put on in 20 thru 22.

Over all it has been a great car and is going to an enthusiastic new owner. I'm sure I'll miss it but both my wife and I have reached an age where comfort during road trips is becoming more important than the fun factor so moving to a GT style vehicle has been made.

I want to thank all the posters to this forum over the years especially JFP, Itsnotanova, 78F350, TTGator, Particalwave and a host of others for invaluable assistance and sharing their wealth of knowledge and expertise. And also Starter986 for pre-coffee very early morning laughs.

I plan on stopping in now and then to catch up on things so I won't be a complete stranger.

BMW 640i GT. Large, fast, comfortable and really appreciated by my wife!

Nice car, particularly for long trips; you will enjoy it.

In spite of having had just one cup of coffee, and having stepped out of bed at 345 this morning...

Going to miss reading your posts and contributions. That will last a couple of weeks.

Congrats on the BMW! I promise no porcuipine jokes. Have you found a solid BMW forum to join?

It will be nice to have you pop in once in a while. Really.

Take care. Don't be a stranger.

I do hope you continue to pop in every now and then.

Yes, please do continue to stop in from time to time and feel free to post some pics of the 640i in your travels.
